1 BNSF Princeton and Wyanet Bridges

The bridges, built in 1899, will be demolished and reconstructed. The two, double-track mainline bridges are approximately 400 feet long and span the West Bureau Creek in Wyanet, Illinois and Big Bureau Creek in Princeton, Illinois.

2 UPRR UPDS Transload Expansion

McHugh is constructing Phase 2 of the Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) UPDS Transload Expansion project in Odessa, Texas. The 100-acre expansion of the existing rail yard includes excavation and grading, site utilities, site electric, yard buildings, structural concrete, paving, and 30,000 feet of new track.

3 UPRR Sunset Route - Iris to Acolita

Construction has begun on the 11.5-mile stretch of UPRR’s Sunset Route from Iris to Acolita in the Imperial Sand Dunes of southern California. Crews will build a second mainline track with 9 bridges, 39 drainage structures with headwalls, 59 jack and bore pipes, and approximately 92,000 cubic yards of embankment.

4 BNSF Bridge No. 1.94

Work included the demolition of the existing 203-foot long bridge over Sangamon Street at 16th Street, constructing drilled-shaft retaining walls, and then filling in the viaduct. The work was performed under five live railroad tracks.
