MEP Estimatior/Assistant Project Manager
General Building and Water Treatment

Candidate should have the following knowledge and experience:

  • Strong cost, design and working knowledge of piping trades including mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection and site utilities including a good working and pricing knowledge of ventilation, geothermal and electrical.
  • The skills to develop conceptual system designs and pricing as well as the ability to work with MEP subcontractors to assist in the development of scope and pricing from schematic design through final design.
  • The ability to develop building energy models, develop heating and cooling loads and provide energy use models and life cycle analysis based on various MEP systems.
  • Knowledgeable of MEP-related LEED™ requirements and commissioning procedures,

Responsibilities include:
  • Estimating building and water treatment mechanical and process systems
  • Developing and maintaining pricing database
  • Developing subcontractor and vendor relationships
  • Performing quantity take offs and pricing of mechanical and process systems and plant equipment
  • Assisting in project procurement and startup

Candidate must have experience bidding and managing mechanical and process systems work related to building, water and wastewater treatment projects with technical knowledge and understanding of treatment processes, and possess a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 4 years of experience in WTP/WWTP work; or equivalent industry experience.
